My Day With the Avengers. By Peter Parker

I'm sitting in biology class right now, Ms. Parsons is talking about genetic mutations. In case you haven't guessed, I'm Peter Parker. Normal guy, gets bullied, takes the occasional picture for the daily bugle and I'm also Spider-man.
"Mr. Parker."
My head snapped up. "Yes?"
"What is an example of a genetic mutation?"
"The X-Men"
"Well, we were talking about genetic mutations that are a little bit more common, more normal." there was malice lacing her words.
"What's wrong with the X-Men?" Bad move, I instantly regretted speaking at all.
"They should not be roaming free "saving" whomever they please. They should be jailed."
That's it.
"Ms. Parsons do I sense racism in your voice" well, let's just dig myself a deeper grave huh?
"No, they just simply do not belong around normal people."
There was that word again, "normal".  "Because being mutants means you have no rights?"
"Exactly."
"What if you were to live in a world full of mutants where you were the outcast, where you weren't "normal", where everyone assumed you should be jailed."
"That is quite enough Peter. I will talk to you after class."
Now I've done it. Ms. Parsons gave me nasty looks for the rest of the class. After class, it would be straight to the detention room for me rather than covering a Stark Industries press conference. Looks like that press pass in my bag is going to go to waste. Jameson is going to kill me.

Detention is over in ten minutes. That means in ten minutes Aunt May will come to pick me up, she'll promise Ms. Parsons that she'll talk to me about my behaviour. She'll take me home and do what she's promised, then proceed to ground me for a day or two.

As expected Aunt May came to get me, but she didn't promise Ms. parsons anything, she just took me straight home, no talking, just silence all the way home. It was the longest car ride of my life. When we pulled into the drive way she turned to me and spoke.
"There is a guest waiting for you inside."
I walked into the house, guest indeed. Tony Stark was sitting in my living room. Suddenly I felt like I should be wearing something more formal than jeans and a t-shirt.
